First day and first highlight: We visited the Table Mountain. It’s one of my Must Do’s. I can’t find any words. It’s really a worldwonder.
I can’t tell you about accessible beaches but we have been to Sea Point Pavillon. It’s a pool area in front of the ocean.
We had typical African dinner at restaurant Gold.
After the first two days we did a bus trip along the Garden Route with „Berge und Meer“. Here’s a list of things we did with a guide in Capetown:
• Simonstown
• Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach
• Cape of Good Hope
• Hout Bay
• Fish Hoek
and on our way to Port Elizabeth:
Ü ostrich farm in Karoo (a semi desert natural region)
• Oudtshoorn
• Knysna & Knysna Heights (Our hotel was Knysna Hollow)
• Tsisikamma Nationalpark
• Plettenberg Bay (beach)
• Port Elizabeth
In Port Elizabeth our tour ended and my mum and I went to Addo Elephant Park by ourselves and did a safari.
We flew back to Capetown and spend there another three days.
The first thing when we came back: beach day at Muinzenberg Beach. There are some cute houses at the beach. The next days we also went to a beach called Long Island. But also no ramp.
Those three days we had an airbnb in Kommitjie. In the evening we had burger for dinner at The green Room.
I can’t believe I did it but I made a paragliding flight from the Signal Hill. You can call them at Tel. + 27 76 892 2283 (instagram: @cptparaglide)
Plans for my next visit:
• Safari near Capetown: Aquila Game Reserve
• Robben Island (former prison island)
