… come along, I’ll show you the world!

Hey, I’m Leonie.
I want to share my travel experience on this blog with you, even if you’re rolling or walking.
Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Netherlands

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe is Amsterdam.

I have been here already for three times in three different hotels. Hotels are expensive directly in the city. The best and not expensive hotel was Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam. The metro station called Overamstel is next to the hotel and it takes 10 minutes to get to Amsterdam Central.

Here are my favorite foodplaces:

• Happy Pig Pancake Shop

• Rosmarijnsteeg 12

• The Avocado Show

• Daniël Stalpertstraat 61

• Café Blond

• Ferdinand Bolstraat 44 H

• Bulls and Dogs (Coffeeshop)

• Van Woustraat 58

• Skylounge Amsterdam (im Doubletree Hilton)

• Snackland Vlaamse Fites (fries)

• De Foodhallen (with Tram Nr. 17)

• Happy Pig Pancake Shop

All the other restaurants are wheelchair accessible.

Before I got back home I went to A´DAMS Lookout. It’s a 360-degree sky deck and is next to the train station. You just have to get the ferry on the other side. They have an „Over the Edge“ swing. I can walk a little so I could try it.

Anne Frank House is not wheelchair accessible but you can do a virtual tour and the modern part of the museum is accessible.

One day I were at a botanical garden called Hortus Botanicus. They have a discount for wheelchair user and their assistance.

And in the evening I did a canal cruise at Blue Boat Company. They have a lift to get on board without using the stairs.

Next time:

• Starbikes
